It was with great sadness that l received the news of Maura’s passing. A beautiful lady in every sense of the word is how l will remember her. As a child in the 60s l was in awe of Maura taking off to the USA, l admired her courage and adventurous spirit. I never forgot the Christmas card we got in the post from her, it made us feel so special. I was only reminiscing last week on the phone to Ann about her. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam a Mháire RIP.
