Remembering Maura - tasty biscuits made with custard powder, elderberry wine, a fabulous knitter, lots of spider plants, women's weekly magazines every week - our childhood delight, a fabulous gardener with slips that always grew, her love of dogs, the blue hiace van, many trips to Mountrath, furniture upholstered, fruit cakes at Christmas, and us saying "here comes Maura" as she climbed over the ditch to visit us. Such an impact this wonderful lady had on our childhood, it was never forgotten. So sorry to hear of her passing.
