Stephen’s Day, I was unable to get to Maura’s funeral. I know what lengths you go to accompany folk and I imagine you, Thomas (Emer), David (Mairead), Laura (Padraig), Finbar (Clodagh) along with Maura’s siblings James and Deirdre not to mention -your own sister Shelia and my classmate Michael Leydon - were warmly accompanied by many many friends throughout your darkest hours.
It was a privilege to encounter Maura here and play my part in the journey preparation that is my calling. Here at my hospital altar you are remembered.
