So sorry to hear of Maura's sudden passing. May she rest in peace, and my condolences to her family and neighbours. I became friendly with her when she worked in MIC. We had some great chats and lots of laughs.
You will be sadly missed Maura. I've great memories from childhood of you arriving in the wee Starlet to stay with us for weeks at a time. In later years we appreciated you making the trip to our wedding in Cork despite the terrible floods -- there was just no holding you back, you loved a challenge! You were always a great friend to my mother Rosealeen, and plenty of banter and craic was had when you were around.
Maura, you were an impressive lady and a true woman of Ireland. You were friendly and kind and I always enjoyed meeting you. Condolences to Rosealeen, family and friends. May you rest in peace.
