Hi Una, Syra and Tomás, I was very sorry to hear of your mother's passing. I too worked with Maura in Housing, Rents and Torture (sorry, Tenure) in O'Connell Bridge House and she was a great work colleague. Maura was young at heart, had a great interest in people, a great sense of humour and who could forget that infectious laugh either. She was a lovely person and I will miss her. You certainly chose a lovely photograph of Maura. May Maura RIP.

My sympathy to the McQuaid family on the loss of Maura. I first met Maura as a lovely work colleague in the Housing Rents & Tenure section in the Department of the Environment back in 1989. She was a true lady and I recall her good humour and great laugh. May she rest in peace.

Sincere condolences to the McQuaid family. Our mother Marie had many enjoyable holidays with Maura and friends over the years. She had dozens of photos of them all on the beaches and enjoying the sights abroad. Those holidays and weekends were something she looked forward to for months. Hopefully they're all basking in the sun now on that big beach in the sky.

Una, Syra, Tom and grandchildren. I am so very sorry to hear of your Mum’s death. Maura has been a great friend of mine for the past 35 years. We first met in Housing Rents and Tenure Section, Dept. of the Environment and Local Government in O’Connell Bridge House. I will miss her terribly.

To Una, Syra and Tom I was saddened to hear of your Mams passing. As a frequent guest in the house in our teenage years Maura always welcomed us, no matter how big the crowd.
