Maura was a great Lady, she organised the active age community 5 days a week in oldbawn, which has brought life back and gave over 55's a connection, entertainment and made sure everyone was included so her legacy will always be remembered and always carried on to the next 55's.

My Family only told me of the Passing of our dear friend and neighbour, Maura as I Was having my chemo to day they were looking out for me and Maura and I often spoke about the value of Family and she was blessed to have a very caring family. I trust God will help them through this sad time and they remember the good times, as we who new and loved her at the seniors afternoon, Maura would sing and it was the best fun, I suggested she learn the words of THE OLD REFRAIN,,
I printed them out and the next week she sang it, Maura rest in peace your smile and friendship will never be forgotten, JOE MARY KEARNEY AND FAMILY, INIS THIAR

It was with a deep sadness I learnt of Maura's death. I only had the pleasure of getting to know Maura over the last 3 years at the Wednesday afternoon tea party in St. Martins church. A lovely happy lady, always with a smile on her face and a twinkle in her eyes. She will be sadly missed.

Some of my earliest memories are of great days with our ‘Auntie’ Maura.

An amazing lady who always enjoyed enjoying life. She lived that way until the end and what a life well lived.

I know that the sadness of Theresa, Thomas, Aidan and Trish will be filled with pride and comforted that Maura is with Aidan and Bríd again.
