Maura was a great lady. She had an indomitable spirit which reached out to many people. Her work in Calcutta, in Focus Ireland and the Rutland Centre will always be remembered. Her lovely personality, as well as her many gifts, brought great joy to anyone who met her or had to do with her. May she Rest in Peace.

My sincere sympathies to the Russell family on the death of Maura. I worked with Maura in the early 80s in Focus Point (now Focus Ireland) when she helped establish its first 24 hour emergency phone service for homeless people and subsequently our drop in coffee shop in Eustace Street. Maura has done so much good throughout her life and impacted so much the lives of those she served as well as those she worked with. May she rest in peace.

So sad to learn of Maura's passing. Condolences to her family and friends. May her gentle soul rest in eternal peace.
