My sincere condolences to all the Shehabeddin family on the death of your wife/mother/grandmother/sister and sister-in-law. I remember when our children were small Maura would diligently deliver The Irish Catholic newsletter around the estate. She would stop for a chat and catch up before continuing with her deliveries. May Maura rest in peace and may she watch over you all, especially her 6 beautiful grandchildren, in the weeks, months and years ahead.

we were so saddened with the passing off the beautiful maura, we didnt know her a long time but we all spent the last few weeks off her prescious life beside her, where herself and our mam became soul friends, and the comfort off them having each other was second to none, there was no1 we would rather our mam off spending the last few weeks off her life with than maura, a beautiful gentle caring lady with a heart off gold who always put others first, we knew this because the moment she opened her eyes she asked how our mam was b4 herself, the definition off a true lady and we miss the chats with maura, and all you guys, was a pleaure to meet yous and thank yous for all the support hugs tears and chats yous all shared with us , yous will never know wat it meant to us, god worked his magic to make us all meet, sleep tight beautiful maura , i hope you and our mam is up there now having a drink and getting to know each other more, love and hugs guys and dont be strangers xxxx

I’m so incredibly sorry for your loss. Your mum was a truly special woman, warm, wise, and full of kindness and brave, venturing out to North Africa the time she did, only people of true courage and heart could do that.

I feel lucky to have known her and will always remember the way she made everyone feel welcome and cared for and stories of her legendary fry ups.

My sincere condolences to Mounib, Adam, Eamon, Tara, Leah and all the family on the loss of Maura. She was a terrific lady, so strong and brave and kind. I volunteered a little with her in front of the abortion referral clinic in Dublin and she had incredible stories of babies saved and women helped. She was hilarious too, always up for a cuppa and a laugh, a big smile on her face and rosary beads hiding somewhere. Be assured of my prayers for Maura and all the family.

God bless you Mounib, Eamon, Adam and Phyllis who I met just a couple of weeks ago at St. Francis Hospice, and her wider family. It was a joy knowing Maura, she was such a defender of life and a true patriot. She'll be sorely missed. I'll keep her in my prayers and all of you. RIP Maura Shehabeddin.
