Sincere condolences to Michael Robert & family on the sad passing of Maura & her beloved Mike 3 weeks later & to the Durack family. I worked with Maura for over 30years in St.James & latterly St.George's hospital London.
Maura was an amazing caring night nurse practitioner & bed/site manager with an infectious humour which made some difficult & stressful times easier.
I shall miss you Maura. Rest in peace with your beloved Mike.

So very sad to hear this news. Maura was one of the night sisters at St George’s when I was a student and staff nurse on the wards, I also worked with her when she was a bed manager . She was always so lovely and supportive with a fantastic sense of humour. Sending my condolences and love to all her family and friends at this sad time

So very sad to hear of Mauras passing. A friendship formed when we both worked in St. George’s. Imagine the moment we realised we were two Feakle people working with each other in an enormous hospital in south London. It was magical. We hugged each other so long it was amazing any work got done that day. Another fond memory was when we both happened to come home the same week to and randomly meet in Peppers. God bless you dear Maura and fly high. I’ll never forget you. Xxx
