Just heard the very sad news recently that Maureen had passed away last November. My sincere condolences to all of Maureen’s family on the loss of a wonderful lady. Pearse and I were so fond of her and had gotten to know her well over the years visiting Craddock House. Rose Cottage won’t be the same without her. May her gentle soul rest in peace as she is reunited with her beloved husband Eoin and all her sisters and brother in heaven.

My sincere condolences to all of Maureen’s family. Maureen often spoke lovingly of all her family in Robertstown. I have many wonderful memories growing up of Maureen. I fondly remember Maureen calling me Patrish. When I came back to Dublin on holidays I loved visiting Maureen and Owen. Maureen made me feel very welcome and she always made me a cup of tea and if I was lucky she would have just made her amazing apple tart. So now Maureen rest in peace beside Owen.
