I have wonderful memories of Maureen. I got to know her in The Vogue where my sister Muiree worked with her. Afterwards I would meet her when she worked in Walsh Brothers. Maureen was beautiful both inside and out. She will be missed.

So very saddened to learn of Maureen's passing. A truly lovely person, always so warm and welcoming. Maureen had time for everyone; a kindly word and cheery smile.

Maureen was synonymous with the retail business in Tralee from her time in The Vogue and later years working with Walsh Brothers Shoes. Courteous, efficient and welcoming Maureen had just the right disposition for engaging with the public. Utterly unflappable and always smiling Maureen made every customer feel special. Her genuine warmth and charm made her a unique asset in business and a firm favourite with customers.

A great, great friend to my Mom I have the best and fondest of childhood memories of Maureen's visits to our home always arriving with sweets and chocolates galore. A tradition she kept up down through the years including a wonderful visit this past Christmas.

Maureen we will miss you greatly but hold you in our hearts with gratitude and affection always.

Rest easy now. Thank you for everything.
