Yesterday we said our final goodbye to dear aunt Maureen. From the lovely church ceremony to the last sing song it was a fitting tribute to a woman for whom faith, family and fun were intertwined. Like all her nieces and nephews our legendary Christmas night celebrations at Swilly road will be forever treasured, as well as the lovely marietta biscuit sandwiches that my sister Sandra (RIP) and I used to always look forward to when we would call in on our way home from school. I think I can still taste them now! For all the lovely times and memories, thank you. May you rest in peace Maureen. X
