I will always remember Maureen as such a caring, honest and entertaining aunt who was never afraid to call a spade a spade. Every time myself and my brothers visited the Clancy house as children, we knew we were going to have a great time. She will be deeply missed by all the family. Love and prayers to all.

The girls and I were lucky enough to have a chance to see Maureen for a final time when we were over in the summer. She still took the time to visit and enquire after everyone, when it can't have been easy for her. She was a great and caring aunt and will be deeply missed by the wider clan. Maureen was truly ‘one of kind’, and it was my good fortune to have her as my Godmother. A woman of indomitable spirit, genuine honesty and caring to her core.

My Dad, in his months of illness, was so moved by the loving kindness he experienced in her visits to him.. travelling all the way across town on public transport to do so. I also know my Mum found much-needed support in Maureen’s company down the years.

Maureen will be long-remembered with fondness and affection.
