It was with much sadness that I heard of the news of the passing of Aunty Maureen. I am very grateful that I managed a catch up with her during my last visit there. Aunty Maureen was the oldest child in her family and sister to my mum. She was a petite lady in stature though large in a fun and welcoming personality. Her 96 years of life brought an abundance of experiences and changes in the world around her as well as, husbands, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and off friends. Her presence will be missed immensely in their lives.

My heartfelt condolences to all of her children and their extended families, her sisters Phyllis and Monica and her friends. May your memories bring joy and comfort in the days ahead. There will be many welcoming arms waiting for her in her heaven by those family members who have gone before her.
