Sincere sympathy to Jim, Brendan, Orla, Nicola, Imelda and Ronan on the passing of a beloved wife and mother. Sympathy also to Maureen's sisters (my cousins) Cora, Breda, Eileen and Celia. I have fond memories of holidays spent in Whitegate where everyone was welcome. Maureen always made time to visit my mother (Auntie Vera) when she was in Cork. We visited her and Jim many times in Aghada. They were a special couple. Maureen was a very talented dress maker, one of her many talents. She was full of life with a lovely sense of humour. We will miss her and will remember her fondly.

Our very deepest condolences to the entire Cunning and O’Reilly family. It was with utmost sadness that we heard of her passing. She was loved by so many and always such a ray of sunshine when we met every summer in my childhood years. Maureen will always be the one to have had faith in my quest to be a ‘vegetarian’ and purchased my first recipe book for me…I have such fond memories of this beautiful, kind, interesting, and joyful woman who filled a room with laughter and our souls with happiness.
