Dear Susan, Carmel and Dermot, sincere sympathy on the sad loss of your Mum and Dad. Maureen and Owen were such a part of life on the terrace and it won't be the same without them. May they rest in peace.

Dear Susan, Carmel and Dermot,

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your lovely Mum and of your Dad Owen too. Your parents were such lovely people and were always kind to me and great fun and generous to us growing up so close to you in Smiths Cottages and we were always welcomed so beautifully into your house. I loved especially when they shared chocolate you couldn't get here in those days, brought back from visits to England. Your are blest with your parents and I hope happy memories will help each of you in the lonely times when you will miss them especially and that you have some comfort that they are together again❤️. So very sorry to hear of your Mam's passing. Such great memories of a lovely, smart and fun lady growing up in Bushfield and in recent years. As we said to Maureen at Owen's Funeral..it was always Owen and Maureen in conversation, as they were always together. What a devoted couple and now together again..

Sorry for your loss of you Mum, Maureen especially after Owen's passing. Maureen was an example to me of how to be a Wife, a Mum and a Friend. Living life to the full, offering her advise and experience without hesitation and giving all of us who were lucky enough to be within her sphere, lifelong memories of fun/joy of being in her company. Will be sadly missed.

Was so sorry to hear about Maureen, and so soon after Owen. A huge loss in such a short space of time. I have such fond memories of her. She was hilarious and loved life and very obviously loved being a Mum. Thinking of you all. May she rest in peace.

I was so sad to hear of Maureen’s passing. We were friends for such a long time and I can’t believe she’s gone. So heartbreaking for you all losing two parents so close together but as a loving family you’ll be a comfort to each other. Bye Maureen rest in peace with your beloved Owen.
