So sorry to hear that Maureen has died. I know that the care you provided for her, Miriam, gave her strength to carry on in her later years. I remember meeting her over the years with her kindness and her sense of humour. I stayed in Lisbeg and she came to stay in my house in London. She was very upset that the dogs were trampling the flowers in my garden. I was just delighted that she could stay with me.
She is a special person who adored her children and grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by family and friends. May she rest in peace.
What a lovely lady she was. I visited her once as my daughter, Tara McCarthy, was working in her house. Maureen was so proud of the fact that she could still touch her toes...she insisted on showing me. A sad time for all of you.

So sorry for your loss, our greatest sympathies to you
Miriam and John,
Maureen was such a lovely part of life growing up in Tralee. Many memories of summer days out at your caravan in Banna Beach. Her lovely slow cork accent and dry sense of humour. She was such a great and treasured friend to Mum and they shared so many good times and fun trips together. It wont be same going back to visit Ireland and not having Maureen to call in to and have a cup of tea with. A wonderful lady who will be sadly missed.
love
