Was so sorry to hear that the Olympia's Queen had finally left us, but her spirit lingers on. I will miss dancing round the bar with her singing "Shall We Dance?" I'll miss her Dublin Coddle too, but we'll always remember her fondly. Deepest sympathies to Jimmy and all the family.

To Jimmy, all of the Grant family and all who knew and loved Maureen I’m thinking of you all at this sad time . It was my absolute pleasure to have been so very fortunate to have known Maureen, and I treasure so very much all the wonderful time I got to spend with her, the great chats , advice , laughs and memories .

What an honour for us all to have known Maureen. An incredible, accomplished, funny, warm, fiery woman who will never be replicated. A true Dublin legend.

Her presence will be felt every day and every night at The Olympia, whether open to the masses or closed with the other spirits roaming the halls.

To Jimbo and all the family, close and extended, by blood and by friendship, I’m thinking of you all at this sad time. Some day we will all come together again and give her the party she deserves.

I was so sorry to hear that Maureen has passed. Myself and Cliodhna were welcomed so warmly by Maureen as children and we have enjoyed her friendship ever since. A grand lady of the theatre she will be warmly remembered by us as a family.
