My condolences to Maureen's family and friends. I have fond memories of visiting the Mulligan farm in Longwood as a young lad and enjoyed the welcome and hospitality of Maureen and the Mulligan family. A truly lovely lady. May Maureen rest in peace.

Maureen was a true lady and part of the fabric of Stoneybatter. As a child she was to myself and many others what we would now describe as a 'trusted adult'. She was someone to go to if you needed help or to ask something if you couldn't see your own Mammy! She saw many of us grow up in the area, attend school with her children as well as football, tabletennis, scouts and the annual summer project to name but a few. In my job as principal of the school across the road from her I knew Maureen in a more professional context as both a beloved child minder of a number of our students and as a link with St Vincent de Paul. There were many a family through the years that were assisted and supported through Maureen and she also was very supportive of our various school events and celebrations of communion and confirmation. As a child and adult she was always a truly friendly face and I know her family will be devastated at this time as will many of the local community. May she rest in peace.

Frank i am so sorry to hear about Maureen passing. She truly was an earth angel & helped so many people,
so gentle, kind & humble! I remember our covid work outs on the street & no matter what she used to join in & have a little dance with bernie!
