Sometime in the late 1940's a teacher, W G Doyle,in Moone broke his legs in motor cycle accident. His replacement was Sean O'Connor Kilquane Dingle, my father. Sean's digs were in Boakefield. For many many years thereafter we called to see the Keatley's of Boakefield. He often said of Maureen that she had the lightest hands ever plunged into a sack of flour. They are all gone now...may the light of heaven shine on them

Mrs Keatley was a dedicated St Laurences Camogie Club supporter and was always there at our games.
