It was her understanding, care and compassion that helped me through the worse two years of my life while my own beloved father was dying.
Her support to me as a child helped me get through my own life.

We will miss our kind and precious Nana and cherish all the years we spent with her. My favourite memories were her telling us stories of long ago and I will always remember her sitting in an arm chair reading a good book with that smile she would flash that would light up the room.

Very sad to hear about Maureen's death. I watch the ceremony and it was very beautiful . Your words Eamon, Joe and Barbara were fitting description of your Mam. We are sorrry to hear of the death of Maureen, mother of Barbara and Gerry, grandmother of their childeren. We remember Maureen as a warm and very caring mother who had a great interest in our family in Holland. She was here for a lot of times with Eddy. It was always nice to meet her and to talk with her. She was a great personality. We sometimes tried to make fun of her, but she would not let me. We had lots of fun together.
You are in our thoughts in our hearts.
