Maureen King

We wish to thank, most sincerely, all those who sympathised with me and my family after Maureen's recent passing. We are humbled and greatly comforted by the extraordinary number of messages of condolence, sympathy cards, Mass cards, letters, emails, texts and acts of kindness received during these exceptionally sad days. The love and support given to us has been overwhelming and is greatly appreciated. A special word of thanks to Dalkey Community Unit and Dr. McGrath for Maureen's care. Also, sincere thanks to Mons. Dan O'Connor and all at St. Michael's Church, Dun Laoghaire where Mass will be offered for their intention. Deeply appreciated, Carmel and Bill.

Caramel, I am heartbroken. Maureen had such a playful and positive impact on my life. I longed for the nights I would look after her. We had so much fun, and belly laughed. Her rituals of First Holy Communion and Confirmation every year for every doll and her adoration of Mario Lanza.
I have such fond memories of her. She will have a special place in all of our hearts.

Very sad to hear the news about Maureen. She was lovely and had a great character. Many memories of Maureen when i was a child. We called over many times to play and visit Carmel and Timmy the dog....
