Maureen and I started our training together in the Mater Hospital.
She became Aunty Maureen to my family. She invited us to visit her parents and family in Sligo and her home became our home for many years at Easter.
I'm sorry that I cannot be there today but our daughter and her goddaughter Hazel will represent us all.
Maureen was a true,loyal and generous friend who will be greatly missed. May she rest in peace.
