I cannot believe that I didn't know about Maureen's death until she was buried.
I got to know Paddy and Maureen in 1978 and since then I have been welcomed into their home on a regular basis.Maureen was such a kind,gentle ,caring,welcoming person who always had the cup of tea ready..As the years went by and I moved out of the city my visits to Parkholohan became less frequent but nevertheless I was always welcomed with open arms.
Maureen' will live on in the memory of Paddy, Pat and Declan and in the memory of all of us who admired and appreciated her so much.
May Maureen rest in the eternal peace she so deserves

Maureen was a lifelong friend of mine .She always went above and beyond to help others and she was one of the most kindest, caring and Genuine person you could meet .I always enjoyed our chats especially when we would reminisce about our lives and the great friendship we had growing up together.
