A remarkable lady. Gifted in so many ways. Her photography, writing, her culinary skills. I have wonderful memories of long lunches around her kitchen table. Gracious and kind, she had a gift for friendship, gathering people from many walks of life. She will be remembered with great fondness.

My dear friend Maureen has gone home. I loved the stories she wrote mostly based on her own life experiences - but there was one about “The Mouse Montgomery “ who SHE lived with. Montgomery lived behind the washing machine in the kitchen on High Street but then moved out to live in the Library / Town Hall behind the skirting board. Such fun brilliant imaginative stories our dear friend Maureen created. May she in Peace. The Elderflower wine shall be drank on Wednesday. Safe home. Sheila.
