What a beautiful and kind lady Maureen was may she RIP,it was such a pleasure looking after Maureen when I worked in Craddock House, she really was such a lovely lady always caring and always up for a good laugh. RIP Maureen xxx

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved matriarch, Maureen McGettigan. She left this world peacefully on Sunday evening, April 28th, 2024.
Mum was a truly remarkable woman who wore many hats throughout her 97 years. She was a devoted daughter, a caring sister, a loving mother, grandmother and a doting great grandmother. Her selfless nature, compassionate spirit, and unconditional love deeply touched all who were fortunate enough to know her. Maureen's/ Mum's warm embrace and wise counsel will be dearly missed.
Born on August 11th, 1926, Maureen Geoghegan lived a full and enriching life. She faced every challenge with grace, strength, and an unwavering positive attitude that inspired all around her. Maureen's / Mum's wonderful legacy will be forever cherished and celebrated by her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched.
