we were very sorry to hear Maureen passed away RIP Sincere sympathy to her family her sister Margaret and sister in law Teresa. Maureen and all the ORahilly were very good to my uncle Paddy Geaney and his wife Mary. The last time we met her was in Castlemagner singing with the Tureencahill singers and we had a great chat.

I Have wonderful memories of teaching with Maureen and the late Paddy Mullooly in the boys school. The boys always referred to Maureen as “Mam”. This I’m sure was because of her caring and affectionate nature.
Shared many lunch breaks with Maureen when we had many a laugh together.
