Last chance today, June 14th to add anything here. I really meant to write sooner - having followed Maureen's funeral online. I love how her niece told us - 'no waffel' said Maureen; 'if they want to speak, let them pray'. Sincere condolences to all who loved Maureen - family , friends & ex-colleagues. Maureen made a strong impression on me in my short 3yrs in AIB, Grafton St. She was so 'young at heart' especially when we'd bump into one another in Templeogue, or Rathfarnham shopping centre / also my area to 1991; (l got her age wrong by a few years, only due to disbelief that she was anywhere near both my parents' birth yrs 1927). I will pray (more) for her soul & all who loved her.
My sincere sympathy to Maureen's family and friends. Maureen was a wonderful woman, always positive and always grateful with deep faith and a great sense of humour. May she Rest in Peace

Aunt Maureen, you were a beacon of knowledge and wit for the family. Thank-you for the love and sensibility you showed all of us over the decades. Thank-you for your warmth and hospitality, and giving us a sense of home every time we came back to Ireland to visit the family.
Another treasure gone. I can still hear your lovely tinkled laugh and see the wide smile. You took so many of us under your capable wing. I had the pleasure in 100 Grafton St and later in Dun Laoghaire of working with you. Rest in peace loveliest of ladies.
Deepest sympathy to all of Maureen’s relations. We can see what an important member of the family she was from the lovely remembrances. Likewise I join with all the Grafton Street staff in remembering Maureen. What a lady! So calm and her lovely smile. The odd time I would have met her since she would love to catch up. Great company. May Maureen Rest in Peace.

Dearest Maureen,
I was so lucky to have you as a part of my life for many years. The aunt who was fun but wise, and keen to keep up with the news. All those family gatherings were so special, and more recently gave us a chance to meet and catch up whenever I was back.
You will be greatly missed by all the family, friends and acquaintances
