I met Maureen while out walking, on Killincarrig Road, two weeks ago and we had a lovely chat. I hadnt spoken with her for many years-as I have lived away- it was wonderful to see her! I'm so glad now that I stopped to talk to her- and she knew me straight away..I will cherish the memory. My own mum (Eileen Whooley) passed away just end November. Love to all the family.

So sad to learn of Maureen's passing. A truly lovely person. I feel privileged that our four children were pupils in St. Laurence's School and she was a member of staff. A wonderful teacher to our daughter Lauren in 1st Class.

So terribly saddened to hear of the passing of Maureen. We were lucky to have had her teach our two daughters at St Laurence's NS. She was an inspirational teacher and a beautiful lady.
