So sad to hear of Maureen's death, deepest condolences to Brian, Deirdre, Freda, Sarah and family and friends, and all who knew her. From the time I was a child her door was always open and I loved being around her - she was so patient and warmhearted and great fun. She'd an incredibly varied and wide knowledge of history and current affairs, and we all knew if we needed to know anything about the town - or their great-grandfather (or someone elses) - she'd know all the juicy details! She was a unique, outspoken person, full of warmth and energy, and it's hard to believe she's gone. 💔 Maureen you were a truly kind and generous soul, you'll be deeply missed.
