Maureen’s condolences

My sincere condolences to all the family. Maureen will certainly be missed but well remembered by everyone she knew I am sure. We enjoyed our brief visits to Ireland (from Australia) when Maureen told me about her childhood in India and later back in Ireland, her parents and brothers. We loved the evening at the Wren’s Nest celebrating her birthday. Maureen was the last of that generation of Delahuntys and my father’s last remaining cousin. Rest peacefully now Maureen and know you are loved.
Sincere condolences to Maureen's family and friends on her sad passing. She has left us some wonderful singing memories that will last forever. May she Rest in Peace.

Dear Cassian,Patricia,Frankie,Richard & extended family, please accept our sincere condolences on the passing of your beloved Mother Maureen. We have such fond memories of wonderful nights spent in her company and hope your own cherished memories will be a source of consolation to you all in the weeks and months ahead. Rest in Eternal Peace now Maureen - The song is ended but the melody lingers on.
Sincere sympathy to Maureen's Family on her sad passing. Many memories of Maureeen singing with the Variety show in Castledaly.

She was a great charachter, may she rest in peace.
When my son Suibhne was born Maureen got me my first baby buggy and helped me in all the ways a mother can, often calmly talking me back from the edge when I was sure my first born was “certain” to die of a mild temperature. She taught me so much but most especially how to get along with the other important people in my son’s life. Gregarious and elegant to the last, she was well regarded with her beautiful mezzo-soprano voice in DGOS. At only 19 she stole away one night without her parents’ knowledge to see her idol Maria Callas perform live at the opera house in Paris. She absolutely lived life to the full and in her wake leaves a legacy of love and song and joy. Mathair cheile, ni bheidh do leithid aris ann ❤️. We were blessed to know her, soar high and sing from the heavens Maureen. Rest in peace 🙏
So sorry to hear of the death of dear Maureen. I have wonderful memories of our musical evenings together in the Wren's Nest and the Concert Hall.
May you Rest in Peace.
Rip 🙏 Maureen
