Maureen Winterbottom

Belated condolences to Peter and family. So saddened to hear about Maureens passing. Maureen and Ron were our neighbours for nine years in Cinder Hill Lane Chadderton Oldham. They were the best neighbous we have had, so friendly and helpful with lots of laughs along the way. Maureen enjoyed breeding and showing the many Irish Wolf hounds and we loved living next door getting to know the dogs and puppies. They also had Copper the Rottweiler and Zimba the Rhodesian Ridgeback and Sam the Cat Maureen excelled at baking and knitting. We had a lovely time when we came to stay in Bandon with them. Such a marvellous couple sadly missed.

Maureen was a pleasure to have known and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

We have such fond memories of both Maureen and Ron and Eve (their majestic Irish wolfhound) from our time in Bandon. Maureen was always so kind and kept us in a constant supply of baked goods and sweet treats especially at Christmas. We also enjoyed tales of Maureen and Ron's annual trips to India. They were always full of industry and plans and fun. Sadly there will be no exchange of Christmas cards this year.
