I worked with Maurice a good number of years ago in the Mater Private Hospital Dublin and he looked out for me and many others. I have great memories of him and was delighted to meet his son Robert years later through a great friend Jakki. Robert Catherine and Evan you and all the Campbell family are in our thoughts and prayers at this time.

So sorry to hear of the sudden passing of Cousin Maurice, he was a true gentleman and a great role model. I have fond memories of our time with Maurice and Nancy. My thoughts are with Nancy, Siobhan, Karon and Robert. Also, Isobel, Joan, John and Billy. May He Rest in Peace.

We only met Maurice and Nancy once when we were visiting from Ireland. We were invited to their beautiful home and garden for lunch. We will always remember the warm welcome we received. Rest in peace in Heavens garden Maurice.

We are so sorry for the sudden passing of Maurice. Heartfelt and sincere condolences to Nancy, Siobhan, Wayne, Grace and Oisin, Karon, Richard, Robert, Catherine and Evan and all of Maurice's many friends and family both in Australia and Ireland.
He was one of life's true gentlemen, kind hearted and soft spoken. We have many great memories of days and evenings spend in his company. From Balally dress making evenings in the run up to Rob and Catherine's wedding, Nancy's amazing cooking and Maurice's generous glasses of wine, to more recent evenings in Ballybrehony South, welcoming the visitors home from Oz.
Thankfully, on their last trip, we had the opportunity to welcome Maurice and Nancy into our home in Claremorris, memories we will cherish.

Our deepest condolences to Nancy, Siobhan, Karon and Robert. I have so many fond memories of Maurice and our lives together. Maurice was life's true gentleman. He cared for me in so many ways. We had incredible times together and I was so happy to spend time with him in Perth. Taking me for a test drive in his Jag when I saw him in Parkerville, I knew he was settled. 65 Balally drive was my second home. I would often stay there after a long work shift. It was too far to go home. One night I struggled to open the front door. It had swelled with the cold weather. I clearly made a racket, as I woke to find Maurice planing the door! As a child, Maurice would often check if I was with Robert on a Friday evening and ensure he had treats for me also. He loved me singing over our many Christmas nights and would call out to me, "Johnny, give us the Fureys" I was chuffed. These words from one of his favourite songs typify my feelings; "He was more than just a father, a teacher, my best friend... Oh I never will forget him, for he made me what I am, though he may be gone, memories linger on, God I miss him, The old man". Maurice carried me through life and I am honoured to carry him to his final resting place. We love you.

We are very sorry to hear of the sudden death of Maurice. He was a lovely man and I have many treasured memories of being in 65 Balally Drive and also in Dundalk with the grandparents. Maurice and Nancy always showed love and kindness to our family and always made us feel very welcome. They looked after us so well after Clem and Joans accident and as a family we will always be very grateful. A great family man and a true legend taken far too early. i will always remember the evening that you Nancy took the phone call about Clem and Joan's accident and came back into the kitchen and calmly told us that everything would be ok and they will be home soon. Maurice and you rallied all the neighbours and took care of five very young kids for which we as a family will be for ever grateful. Christmas was a great time to be around Maurice and the Campbell family at 65 Balally Drive, there was always a great atmosphere with loads of fun and laughs. Maurice has left a great legacy behind him and he will be sadly missed but never forgotten.

Nancy we were so very sad to hear that Maurice passed away and taken from you so suddenly. I remember Maurice and how much love and care he gave to all of us McCloskey clan. Our drives to school and the laughs and kindness, he treated us like we were one of his own. I always remember staying over at yours and Maurice bought us all sweets on the Friday night. I was eight, and I thought how lucky we are. Christmas time was the best and I hold all those memories close to my heart. John will give you a hug from us all.
