MAURICE COVENEY

Maurice was such a kind gentleman who was very giving of his time voluntarily to the chess club my kids were involved in. Very sorry to hear of his passing. May he Rest in Peace.

I am really very sorry to hear of the death of Maurice. I played him many times in the Irish Veterans Chess Championship and he was a lovely man and a real gentleman. I liked him very much. We often had good chats in between the chess. My sincere condolences to Maurice’s family. May his gentle soul rest in peace.

I was sorry to learn of the Sad Passing of Maurice. I got to know Maurice while his Company were involved with Eli Lilly in Kinsale many years ago. I found him to be very honourable and highly efficient during his many years of invaluable service to the Plant. He was committed and enthusiastic in his dealings with Lilly personnel at all times. A most interesting and knowledgeable Man. God Rest Him.
