I just heard about Maurice's passing today, 18 July. Apologies for not being at his funeral, I would loved to have come. I worked with him in Dublin Castle and Harcourt Square for many years and he was a true gentleman. He gave me good advice in my first few days in Dublin Castle, and I've always remembered it and him
