Just a note to express our deep sadness on the passing of Maurice, who was a wonderful friend of our late father, Brendan Mattimoe, S.C. - a colleague from the Law Library. He was a close friend to us- we are so so sad to hear of the loss of this special person.

Claire and Ruth xx
A long and rewarding life comes to an end..no regrets just great memories.
Our family is saddened indeed to hear that Maurice has passed but find some comfort in knowing that his suffering was brief. His long life was lived in exemplary fashion to its fullest and to the very end. The contributions which Maurice has made to family, to his profession and to society have left this world a better place. We feel both proud and privileged to have known such a beautiful, virtuous human being - simple, respectful, intelligent, serene, humble, caring, spiritual and strong of faith. To Leonie, his immediate and extended family and to his many friends and colleagues, we extend our sincerest sympathy.
It was with great sadness we learned of Maurice's passing. He was a wonderful man, an inspiration to everyone who knew him. Generous always with his love, time and knowledge. He gave of himself to each and every one.

Leonie, John, Francesca, Patricia, Stephen and grandchildren - Maurice was a wonderful wonderful man who touched the lives, hearts and minds of many many people, family, friends and colleagues. It has been a pleasure and a very special privilege to have known such a wonderful person for all our lives.

Rest in Peace Maurice
