Dear Cathy, Maurice Junior Lana and all the family. It was with great sadness that we heard of the death of our dear friend Maurice, we will miss him. Fond memories of all the happy musical times spent together. There are special songs that will always remind us of Maurice. Rest in Peace Maurice.

I first met Maurice in the Village Inn when I was probably about 10 and remember even from a young age that whenever he came into a room, it wasn’t long until it would be filled with laughter. He had a great gift of story-telling and being a people person and I remember how fond my parents were of himself and Cathy. He often talked about his children and grandchildren and all his family very fondly. All my love to Cathy and the family as you navigate through this time of great grief, I hope you find comfort in each other and the stories and memories you have of him.

RIP Mo, You were the best Farther in law any man could have ever asked for never interfered but always there for us as a family when we needed you.. The kids loved u more than you will ever know and loved coming down to see u the sweets from the shops and in for a Sunday Pint or two,Crazy Golf with Ryan and Michael you really did make Alot of time for each and every one of your Grandchildren Even Bailey the dog got plenty of walks and attention... I thank you for always looking after me and your strong advice on certain things will always be missed in my heart . I love you Mo and I'm so great full that I had you in I'm my life as a friend,Farther in law and a Dad... You will be missed by so many people and we will stand together and in your Honour and have a Whiskey and think of only the good times and the wonderful storys you had to share.... All that is left to say.. Is That Elvis has left the Building.....

What a shock when I heard this. Poor Maurice was a true gentleman. Every week he would come up to Galway to fill up kanbans for QEF. One of life's gents. Truly saddened to see this . My condolences to all of Maurice's family and friends. May he rest in peace. I will miss our chats. RIP my friend
