On his Saturday morning radio show on Cork City Community radio he often played a song from one of his favourite artists, Joseph Locke. Two lines from one of these songs sum up Mossie for me "If I have helped somebody as I pass along, then my living has not been in vain.
Many a time in Mossie's company when sharing a good family story, which we often did, he would bless himself - what a deep simple faith which was a major part of his life.
Time to say goodbye auld stock.
Reunited now with your beloved Roy, parents & siblings. Look after Pauline & family.
