My sincerest condolences to Maurice's family and friends. I had the pleasure and honor of working with him 21 years ago when we met and again a few years afterwards. He was invaluable, always cheerful, and always smartly dressed. His sense of humor and laughter will always be remembered fondly. May he Rest in Eternal Peace.

I was saddened to hear of the passing of Maurice. It was a privileged to work with Maurice in Spirasi 18.years ago. He was a wonderful colleague, very kind and supportive of clients. There was never a dull moment with Maurice in the office, he was funny and made us laugh so much. A perfect gentleman, my learned friend who alway dressed very nicely. Rest in perfect peace Maurice. Praying for your family to be comforted at this difficult time of loss. Amen

I had the honour to be a colleague of Maurice at SPIRASI. I have many fond memories of sitting with Maurice and having amazing conversations, always filled with laughter, joy and wisdom. I never once saw him badly dressed in the ten plus years I knew him, he was a man with immense style and poise. He made a difference in how he helped so many. I was lucky enough to work with Maurice in Spirasi. We shared an office, working, laughing and learning from one another. Maurice taught me so much and was an inspiration- resilient, compassionate and always willing to assist anyone who walked through our door. He helped many rebuild their confidence and trust after traumatic experiences and understood how to build people up again to feel empowered.He was a fountain of knowledge and did things his own way- mischievous and clever! I loved hearing all of his stories about congo and his children- what times we had!! Meditations on thursday afternoons, debates about religion and belief, dancing to viral african songs, sharing recipes.Rest in peace Maurice, love Madame Ben xxx
