So sorry to hear about the untimely death of Maurice. A truly good guy and always willing to help out in times of great difficulty in people's lives. I found him very personable, professional and straight talking with a great sense of humor. His favorite subject football (Leeds Utd) and then Andy and his footballing achievements. I believe he lived his footballing ambitions through Andy and was so proud of him. I'm also sure he was equally proud of the rest of his siblings. As an accountant I worked with Maurice on mutual clients and never hesitated in recommending him. Unfortunately I haven't had any direct dealings with him in recent times but I'll always remember him as a great colleague and friend. He was one of a kind. My sincere condolences to his wife Aileen and children at this very difficult time. May you get comfort from faith, prayer and the great memories you hold close to your hearts.

Aileen and family, I'm so sorry for your loss. Maurice and I played a lot of cricket together in Pembroke, he was always marvelous company. Most matches were interrupted by rain, but if you had Maurice to entertain you, the time was never wasted. Years later, he did the conveyance on our first home; nothing was too much trouble for Maurice, whether for friends or clients. May he rest in peace.

So sad to hear of Maurice's passing. He was a lovely person and Mr. Mount Merrion FC to us all. So glad he organised a get together from our cup winning team in May of this year. Heartfelt condolences to all the family, Kevin
