Sending our sincere condolences on the passing of May. Such a kindhearted and Brave woman, thinking of yous all.
Sincerest condolences to all Mays family & those who loved her. An amazing woman by all accounts who will forever be remembered by what she achieved for women’s rights in Ireland. I will make sure I tell my girls of her courage & how instrumental she was in the Ireland they now know today. May she rest in eternal peace 🤍🤍
We were both very sorry to learn of May’s passing. We extend our deepest sympathies to her children , her grandchildren and her extended family. We had the honour to represent May in her landmark case some 50 years ago. She and her late husband Shay set out to bring about change for the lives of women. She succeeded in doing this in no uncertain way taking on all comers along the road.
It is only now some 50 years later that we realise the significance of May’s case. The decision in her case changed the lives of the women of Ireland and we should remember her courage in taking on the case.
We met her in Skerries at the unveiling of the Plaque, in her honour ,on the 30th August last. Little did we know then that she was very ill. It was great that the Plaque was unveiled in her lifetime. May her soul rest in peace.
Sincere condolences to all your family and friends.
You have left an amazing legacy and the women of Ireland owe you so much gratitude for your determination, may you rest in peace, you will be remembered by us all.
Thank you May! You were some woman for one woman!!!

Sending my sincere sympathies to all your family and friends.
