Sincere sympathy to the McMahon family on May's passing. She always spoke of you all with great affection and pride. I loved calling into her classy boutique when I came to Clonmel in the 70's. I still have some of the jewellery although the lovely clothes she matched them with are long gone. She visited me in Kuala Lumpur in the 90's on her way back from New Zealand and we enjoyed a meal together. I was sad that she didn't recognize me when I called to the nursing home but she still had her lovely warm smile. I'm thinking of you all at this difficult time.

To Eileen,& indeed all of Mai's family & extended families & friends.It is with great sadness to hear of Mais passing.Unfortunately have lost touch during COVID ,but she came into my thoughts of recent.I must say Mai was a unique person,& I enjoyed her company for same,but the one thing we shared in common was the love & understanding of fashion which we respected one another for same.Getting to know Mai was a pleasure,very interesting & down to earth person,.Her love for family was huge,& shared in her loss of beautiful Siobhan as I understood loss.Her hearty laugh will remain in our memories.

To the McMahon family.
It was with deep regret that I learned of your Mams death May yesterday evening.I had great time for your Mam and we did a lot of business over the years.
I had the pleasure of doing business in the selling of Drewsborough House in Tuamgreaney and also our second successful sale was at Mountshannon Co Clare.
Now dont get me wrong. It wasnt all plain sailing with May.
She often had a few words with me on certain matters but we always resolved our differences.
I called to Davis Road pretty recently to say Hello but now I realise where she was.
May her gentle soul rest in peace.
