My sincere condolences to May's family. I only met May a couple of times through a mutual friend. One sunny day, we cycled to Clontarf Baths for a swim. May was the most beautiful, humourous, warm lady, she simply glowed. May she rest in glorious peace.

May was quite simply one of the very best. From the day we met, I liked her. I liked how present she was when you were with her, was always consistent and you knew exactly where you stood. In her inimitable way she kept me focused, on track and brought out the better side of me, right from the early days when we worked together first on TEDx Dun Laoghaire and with End of Life Ireland Her first words always ‘what do we need to get done.!’ That was May. Talented and absolutely committed to everything she did, from our brand identity to all communication materials. She set the bar high and nothing was too much and was generous too in introducing me to people she knew could also help us. So often, May made me laugh out loud as we’d put the world to rights. Family always came first and had no hesitation in kicking me out of her study when our allotted time was up! She made every minute count. May was sparky, funny, insightful and always herself. I don’t believe she ever really knew just how much she meant to so many of us, she was always so modest and understated in that way. I've missed her company terribly and will always miss her unique spark. Donnchadh, Lena and Malachy and Eva, May loved each of you more than words can ever say.

I'm so sorry to hear of May's passing. She was taken from us too soon and had so much more love and joy to give the world. My thoughts are with Donnchadh, Lena, Malachy and extended family.

I wish to share my sincere condolences on the sad loss of an inspired woman whose acquaintance I made through our campaign to change the law on voluntary assisted dying in Ireland. With May's dynamic input, we put together an international conference in Dun Laoghaire in 2024. It was supported by delegates from 22 countries. May's distinctive logo designs, her subtle branding and her intelligent use of language and sympathetic effect contributed to the event's success.
Her memory was recalled at a meeting of EOLI protesters outside the buildings of the Oireachtas in Kildare Street on Monday 3 November, Right to Die Day.

My deepest sympathy to Mays beautiful family on their loss. I worked with her many years ago, and met again in recent years at a reunion - she was a kind & gentle girl who I’ve no doubt will be dearly missed by those who loved her.
