I didn't know Melissa her name came up on the st Paul's FB page and i was thinking of you all at this very sad time. My dad passed away recently and it was a very sad time still is ..visiting him today i see Melissa is now resting beside him in mount Jerome..She is in good company , when u visit please say hello to my dad and i will do the same. Such devastating news. I met Melissa many a time at the bus stop with her beautiful son and more recently her daughter. She was the lovliest person and always had a smile on her face. A kind soul and her children were a credit to her. She will be missed around Greenhills for sure.

She was one of the sweetest, smartest, kindest, funniest, genuine and generous individuals we had the pleasure to know. There are not many like Melissa in this world. From watching her make her beautiful artwork, practice her spellings, sums and her hymns (her phase as "a fabulous choir singer"), to seeing her become the beautiful young woman, teacher and wonderful Mother she was born to be. She will in our hearts forever. She showed nothing but kindness to all of us, always.
