Melissa MORRISSEY

I am shocked beyond words at Melissa’s sudden passing, as I had only heard of her illness shortly before her untimely passing. I am still in a state of disbelief.

I had the privilege of working with Melissa at Great Island Power Station a few years ago and she was a fantastic colleague and more importantly a friend who was so full of fun with such a generous heart.

Melissa was a fantastic person to be around as she was always up for the craic. She was such an independent strong woman with an amazing personality. She will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her.

My sincere condolences to Dolores, Eamonn, Caitriona, Evan, Bronagh and extended family on the heartbreaking passing of Melissa. I hope you find strength and consolation in this difficult time. May this time of huge sadness quickly pass you all by.

Melissa will forever be in my thoughts and prayers and the World is now a little darker and the Stars a little brighter with her passing. Rest in peace Melissa, rest in peace.

I was very sorry to hear of the untimely passing of Mel. My deepest sympathies to the Morrissey family in what must be a very difficult time. I work as a contractor to Dairygold and worked directly for Mel in her time there. She was always great fun to work for, with a great sense of humour and a very honourable person.
