To Dan, Damien, Kerry and all the family,

I had the absolute privilege of spending many trips to Hincesti with Mercy. While words like hero and inspiration can often be overused, this is not the case with Mercy. She was one of life’s real-life heroes and someone who has been and will continue to be one of the greatest, positive influences in my life. I am forever grateful for having met her and will always remember her for her kindness, sense of great fun and can-do/get-up-and-go attitude.

My heartfelt condolences to you all - she will be so missed, by so many.

I have just heard of the sad death of Mercy, who I met on several occasions while volunteering in Hencesti orphanage, Moldova.
Mercy was a true humanitarian, who touched and enriched the lives of so many and gave so much care & love to the girls in the orphanage.
May she now reap her just eternal reward.
