My deepest sympathies to Merlene's family.

Merlene played a huge role in the lives of the people she worked with. Her personal touch and natural kindness always stood out to me, and I find myself talking about her approach still (10 years after she brought me to my current company). She's a big part of the reason why I joined.

So deeply saddened to hear the news she is no longer with us. May she rest in peace.

I was very sorry and saddened to hear about Merlene’s passing. I knew her as a fellow recruiter and friend, she was always so warm and friendly, and an incredibly hard worker. She was a devoted mum and so proud of her girls. Thinking of you all at this very difficult time.

This is such a shock and i am so saddened by the news of Merlene passing away. My thoughts are with McKayla and Eabha who were Merlene's world. Merlene was a great person - full of ideas, enthusiasm and always ready with some great home baking (I still have her banana bread recipe). Merlene was always professional and kind and i am so sad that she's passed on. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Merlene was such a beautiful lady, both inside and out. She was never without a warm, gracious and caring smile. My son Brandon was in the same year in Taney school as your beautiful daughter McKayla.

Absolutely shocked and most deeply saddened to hear of her untimely passing. She was one of a Kind and truly adored her beautiful girls.

Dear Manfred, McKayla, Eabha and wider family, I was so sad to hear of Merlene's passing. Merlene was a real blessing to me when I first met her in Adelaide Road Church many years ago. She listened attentively and gave me space while I was exploring Christianity.
She brought joy and encouragement to every conversation. Her drive to develop an idea and her passion for people were impressive. The world is a lesser place without Merlene in it. With deepest condolences, Rosalinde Schut.

Merlene Davies was such a lovely person. She was also great fun, enthusiastic, warm, personable and loved people. She was passionate about her daughters. So proud of their achievements. We were all in awe of them. Merlene was a wonderful colleague. Will always remember the cupcakes she brought to the office, on a very regular basis. Most of all will remember the friendship. She always stayed in touch. Might only have been a couple of times a year but lovely to hear from her. Rest in peace lovely lady. Sincerely sympathies to McKayla and Eabha, and all her family and friends. She will be sadly missed.

This is such a shock for me, Merlene was a friend and the person to see potential in me when we worked together as waitrons at a local spur in a suburb in CT called Bellville. She was also a recruiter for the Auditing firm PwC then known as Coopers & Leibrand and offered me a job, fast forward I a still at PwC because of her. We also were friends at the time. Merlene was exceptionally hard working, driven and passionate about helping people, I am broken and shocked right now . I wish i had more details.
