This is such a shock for me, Merlene was a friend and the person to see potential in me when we worked together as waitrons at a local spur in a suburb in CT called Bellville. She was also a recruiter for the Auditing firm PwC then known as Coopers & Leibrand and offered me a job, fast forward I a still at PwC because of her. We also were friends at the time. Merlene was exceptionally hard working, driven and passionate about helping people, I am broken and shocked right now . I wish i had more details. If Manfred or anyone who remembers me can please reach out and help me understand. I love you all and send you my condolences and prayers . GOD give you strength.
