In particular I recall your fine ability as a hurler & footballer in an era when Munster titles were scarce. Also your work at the Pitch & Putt club at the ‘barr’s keeping an eye on the greens. Bye bye Mick until we meet again

To the Archer family. I am very sorry to have learned of your loss. Mike was a gentleman, neighbor, and friend. Sorry, I can't be with you at the moment.
My deepest condolonces to the extended Archer Family on the sad loss of the most genuine Man i have had the priviledge to have played and socialised with in the company of a host of St Finbarrs hurling & football

Thanks to St Vincent's club l was delighted to meet Mick and colleagues so sad he has left the field sympathy to all the family Babs Keating
1961. So sad to hear of Mick's death.
