So sorry to learn of the passing of Mike { EI4CG ] I first met him in the early seventies, and was very impressed with his understanding and knowledge of amateur radio communication on HF and VHF. His installation of his electronic equipment at his home was a Mecca for many amateurs, who later passed their exams and received their transmitting license from the state... His sister " Dot " also held an transmitting license, and was one of the first ladies to so in Ireland....
