I would have shared accommodation with Michael when he was a student in MTU (then called Cork RTC) from 1976-1978 and afterwards when he started working for Bord Gais Eireann over the period 1978-1981 until he started driving from home directly to his work place in Little Island. It was a pleasure to be in his company, he will not be forgotten as he made a big impression on everyone that met him. Sleep gently Michael.
